Hello music lovers! David Mayfield here, trying to fund my second full length studio album. Please visit my Kickstarter Campaign to see how you can be a part of this project and to scope out all the cool stuff your gonna get in return. If I don’t reach the full goal in my time limit however, I will receive no funds at all! So it really is an all or nothing deal so please help spread the word. I’m so grateful to you all for your continued support!

Del Yeah!

Had a wonderful weekend playing at Jammin’ Java with Dangermuffin then heading down to Del Fest where dreams come true! We played two sets to a super enthused crowd so much fun! I sat in with Luther Dickenson & the Wandering for their whole set then, at our late night set musical odd man and former David Grisman quintetee Joe Craven joined us for our late night set. As if that wasn’t’ enough then Sunday morn, I sat in with my musical hero Doyle Lawson and sang a quartet number with him and his band Quicksilver. Dreams do come true at Del Fest!

Recording Records and Making Them Too

Pods, Knobs, and Broomsticks

We may have broken the record for most neglected site on the interweb but it’s for good reason. David has been making a new record! Here’s how we know:

1) He sent us the above picture, which was shot by Crackerfarm.
2) Crackerfarm only shoots men in studios making records in suits
3) David is leaning on the consul that recorded Stevie Wonder and Sir Paul’s hit…Ebony and Ivory (we may be making that up?)
4) Look at his pensive thought gaze… that’s a man who just made magic on tape
5) Lastly, if you look carefully enough, you will see evidence of Jim Reeves’ ghost projected off the reel to reel…

It’s another Nashville miracle!
